Choose your appearance, select exactly two personality traits, pick one dream, then receive your birth-lottery result. A self-made start continues to the Home screen; a Nepo start can move directly into its provided apartment.

Example — a coding and startup character: select Tech Bro or Sis + Smooth Talker, then choose Yaba Unicorn as the dream. The stated effects support Coding and Charisma growth, while the dream sets startup funding as your goal. This is an example built from the trait descriptions; its performance has not been compared with other pairs. It does not instantly grant those skills, a laptop or funding.

The creation process

StageWhat you doWhat it changes
LookSet the body, hair, clothing, fabric and colours; continue with Next / ContinueYour character’s appearance
PersonalitySelect two traits, then continueThe stated skill-growth, social or need-related advantages and drawbacks
DreamSelect one long-term objectiveThe goal you are working toward
Birth lotteryReceive your assigned originYour starting package; it is not another trait selection
HomeOn the self-made route, choose a home or the Lagos student option, then Move inHousing costs and, for UNILAG, student life and course choice

The creator uses these five stage names. Nepo can skip the separate Home selection: in the Lagos setup, the lottery screen offers Move into your Lekki flat. The self-made route instead offers Choose where to live.

1. Look: build the appearance you want

Choose Woman or Man, then a hairstyle, outfit, fabric, skin tone, hair colour and clothing colours. Fabric options include Plain, Ankara, Adire and Aso-oke. Drag the model to turn it and inspect the outfit before continuing.

This stage configures appearance. There is no confirmed money or skill advantage from a particular skin tone, hairstyle or outfit. Selecting a body type is not an established way to obtain a wealthy origin; the birth lottery is a separate account-level step.

2. Personality: choose two of these 10 traits

The effects below paraphrase the official cards checked October 7, 2026. The cards do not state exact percentage bonuses for these traits.

TraitStated effectChoosing it makes sense when…
HustlerHustle grows faster and your efforts attract bosses’ attention; no exact pay or promotion bonus is statedYou want a Hustle or career-oriented character
FoodieCooking grows faster and eating is more enjoyableCooking and food are part of your preferred play style
Owambe SpiritGreater enjoyment of parties and dancing, but boredom comes fasterYou want a party-focused character and accept the boredom drawback
Gym RatFitness grows faster and workouts are more rewarding to the characterYou want to focus on Fitness
Smooth TalkerCharisma grows faster and social interactions go betterYou want social or Charisma-based activities
Lazy BoneEnergy lasts longer, but work suffersYou value Energy endurance more than work performance
Clean PikinHygiene declines more slowlyYou want less frequent hygiene upkeep
Night CrawlerA preference for nightlife; the card gives no precise mechanical bonusNightlife roleplay is your goal, rather than a specific advertised skill bonus
Tech Bro or SisCoding grows fasterYou want Coding, computer or startup activities
MusicalMusic grows fasterYou want a Music-focused character

Next requires two selected traits. If you want to replace one, tap the selected trait to deselect it, then select the replacement. The remaining-choice message tells you whether the pair is complete.

Example trait pairs by goal

Use these examples to connect the activities you enjoy with the effects on the trait cards. The combinations are our interpretation of those effects; there is no measured ranking here.

GoalExample pairReason
Coding and CcHub startup playTech Bro or Sis + Smooth TalkerImproves both Coding and Charisma growth
Hustle and general career playHustler + Smooth TalkerCombines Hustle growth with Charisma and social benefits
Music and a social characterMusical + Smooth TalkerCombines Music growth with social strengths
Fitness with easier hygiene upkeepGym Rat + Clean PikinFitness growth plus slower Hygiene loss
Less frequent Energy/Hygiene upkeepLazy Bone + Clean PikinAddresses two needs, with the explicit Lazy Bone work drawback

How the coding example was chosen: Tech Bro or Sis states faster Coding growth, and Smooth Talker states faster Charisma growth plus better social interactions. Coding and Charisma feature in the documented CcHub activities. Combining those traits is an editorial inference about a useful direction to develop.

What this example does not establish: we have no comparison of levelling time, startup earnings, wages or promotion speed across trait pairs, and no verified recommendation of these combinations from another website or creator. The sources support the individual effects and activity context, not a claim that this pair performs best.

For a work-focused character, Lazy Bone comes with a stated work drawback. For a player who dislikes maintaining Fun, Owambe Spirit has an explicit boredom tradeoff. Night Crawler should not be read as “never needs sleep”; its card does not promise that.

Traits support a direction; they do not automatically complete an activity’s skill requirement. Faster Coding growth is not the same as starting at a required Coding level.

3. Dream: select the objective, not an instant reward

DreamCompletion target stated by the game
Oga at the TopReach the highest level of any career
Lekki LandlordReach ₦1,000,000 net worth
Afrobeats StarReach Music level 10
Everybody’s PadiBecome Paddy Mi / best friends with four people
Yaba UnicornGet a startup funded at CcHub, Yaba

These are goals. Lekki Landlord does not award a house or ₦1,000,000 when selected, and Afrobeats Star does not immediately give Music 10. Choose a dream that matches the activities you want to pursue.

Example matches are Tech Bro or Sis + Smooth Talker → Yaba Unicorn, Musical → Afrobeats Star, and Hustler → Oga at the Top. They illustrate how to align your skill focus with a goal. A trait does not require a particular dream, and these examples have not been tested for faster completion.

4. Birth lottery: understand the starting package

The game assigns the origin once for your account. Starting a new life does not change it. There is no supported method here for choosing Nepo through a body type, trait pair or dream.

For a Lagos start, the origin descriptions checked on October 7, 2026 advertise:

OriginStarting advantagesCost or limitation
Nepo BabyA furnished Lekki flat with family-paid rent, a car, a bank Branch Manager job and ₦500,000 pocket moneyThe car still needs fuel; this is an assigned origin, not a purchasable trait
LAPO Baby₦60,000 starting loan, Hustle level 2, and 25% faster learning for every skillThe ordinary self-made route repays ₦12,000 per week; the loan is not a gift

These are advertised starting conditions, not a promise of future income. The location-specific home or job package can differ outside Lagos. The UNILAG student option below has an explicit no-LAPO-loan exception.

Do not start over just to reroll this result. The creator also warns that an existing life will be replaced when you move into a new one; that is not a harmless preview reset.

5. Home: ordinary rent or a student start

On the self-made route, use Choose where to live, select the home, then Move in. The Lagos Home screen states that rent is paid on Saturday.

The Lagos setup references checked October 7 show these options:

Home optionWeekly rentWhat choosing it means
Face-me-I-face-you · Mushin₦2,400A room in a shared compound; the game labels it a hard start
Self-contain · Yaba₦6,000Your own toilet and kitchen corner; labelled balanced
UNILAG Student · Akoka₦1,200A hall-of-residence bunk and a student course, with the student package below

These are dated setup figures, not the later player-to-player rental market. A cheaper home and a student home are not identical choices: the student route introduces lectures, exams and academic progression.

What the student choice changes

The UNILAG start advertises:

  • A 100L place in the course you select, with the first session’s fees already paid.
  • ₦3,000 allowance each Monday and no LAPO loan to repay.
  • A hall bunk costing ₦1,200 per week.
  • A starting amount of ₦14,000 on the Home card.

The first-session fee coverage does not mean every later fee is waived. This is a study route with a recurring allowance and rent, not an immediate degree or a guaranteed graduate job.

Choose a course and finish

  1. Select UNILAG Student · Akoka on the Home screen.
  2. Select a course in Your course.
  3. Select Move in.
  4. On Matriculation Day, choose Take the oath to proceed into student life. As documented October 6, 2026, the separate optional family photo costs ₦1,000; taking the oath is the free continuation action.

The course cards show four years for Computer Science, Mass Communication, Accounting, Creative Arts and Education; five years for Systems Engineering, Law and Nursing Science. These are the game’s programme lengths, not a statement about real-world time needed to play.

Choose the subject you want to study. Tech Bro or Sis + Computer Science is one example of a character theme; the trait does not require that course or establish better academic results. The long-term differences in course rewards and career outcomes are outside the verified scope of this creation guide.

Can you change your mind later?

Before finishing, use Back to revisit earlier choices. On Personality, deselect and replace a trait; on Dream, select a different card.

A reliable in-game method for changing traits or dreams after moving in has not been verified here. Starting a new life replaces the current life and does not reroll the account’s origin, so it should not be treated as a free trait-editing tool.

After moving in, your next concrete options are Home → Buy → Skills → Laptop Desk for a computer setup, or Map → CcHub → Hot desks / Event stage for Coding and Charisma activities. The Laptop Desk guide and earning-action guide explain those menus in detail.
