Use Phone → Houses → Rent when you need somewhere to live. Use Phone → Houses → Invest when you want to buy a property and let it to tenants.
Choose the right route

Choosing Rent does not buy the property. Choosing Invest is the landlord route, not the tenant’s housing search.
Find a rental home
- Open the in-game Phone.
- Open Houses.
- Select Rent to reach the tenant listings.
You have reached the right section when you are browsing places to rent, rather than properties to buy. The documented route ends at these listings; the later agreement and payment screens are not verified in this guide.
Buy and let a property
Open Phone → Houses → Invest to reach properties for purchase. After buying, the announced system offers two ways to arrange tenants:
- Use an agent: ask an agent to find tenants for the property.
- Rent to players: offer the property to other players as tenants.
These are tenant-finding choices within the landlord flow. They are not two additional ways to buy a house. Current agent fees, tenant eligibility and guaranteed occupancy are not established here.
What the costs mean
Purchase price is the upfront cost of acquiring a property. Rent is the cost of living in a property for a specified period. Rental income is money received from tenants; it is not the purchase price returned automatically.
For budgeting, put income and bills on the same timescale. For example, ₦3,000 per day × 7 = ₦21,000 per week. Against a hypothetical weekly rent of ₦10,000, that leaves ₦11,000 before other spending. These are arithmetic examples, not Lagos Life salaries or house prices.
Current prices and returns
A current rent list, purchase-price list, fee schedule and rental yield are not confirmed. This page identifies the menus and choices; it does not claim a cheapest home or a profitable property ranking.
All property amounts are Game Naira. They cannot be withdrawn as real-world money.
